Trust, Traction, and Transparency
Happy New Year and Welcome to the Mountain BOCES Website!
Mountain BOCES is a cooperative educational service agency covering ten central Rocky Mountain school districts and Colorado Mountain College. We are now in our 41st year of providing programs, services, and expertise that are more efficient, more economical, and of higher quality than could be achieved by one district alone. Our strategic goal is to inspire Trust at all levels of our organization and with all of our partners, to promote Transparency in our fiscal practices and professional activities and interactions, and to focus on getting Traction to accomplish the most important goals--Trust, Traction, and Transparency.
We hope you find our site easy to navigate. If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact our Webmaster.

The Teen Parent Program at Yampah Mountain Schools has received a four-star rating by Qualistar for the second time. This is the highest rating given by the state's quality review for early childhood programs and is very difficult to achieve. Join us in congratulating this hard working team of educators!! Mountain BOCES Meets Requirements on State Performance Plan!
Congratulations to all of the special education providers, secretaries, and district special education administrators for a job well done! Mountain BOCES recently received notice that, together, we met requirements on seven of the State Performance Plan Indicators established by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 (IDEA). Generally, to meet requirements, we had to score 95% or better on each Indicator!
